Life sucks sometimes
Hello again to one and all...thats a hell of a way to start a blog post but I bet it got your attention! It's the holidays...we are entering into Channukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Years...It's supposed to be a happy, joyous time of year...but not for the adults of this household. Somehow, almost every Christmas season has always been rotten for me...until my son was born and then I had a new sense of renewal, of peace and happiness that we are supposed to feel at this time of year. But now, I feel it slipping away again, pretty sad aint it? The owners of our house are getting a divorce, and they are basically selling the house out from under us...we dont make the kind of money it takes to get another house or even to move into one. And me with my back the way it is, there is no way we can do the whole moving thing again like we have done so many times before. When we moved here from California, I remember falling in love with the area and this house, and we swore we would never move again....but here we go....we dont have much choice....but we found a realtor that is willing to help us get into a new house, we just have to wait and see what he says on Saturday. Say a prayer that this goes thru, he seems to think that things look real positive for us, so keep your fingers crossed and pray for us, we need all the help we can get. I jokingly told my son to keep his fingers, toes, eyes and everything else crossed, and he did so...at least he got me to laugh...I will keep you posted, but this is just a note to let you know that i will be on and off here intermittently between packing.I do have some great posts to put on here but right now life is taking precidence and you are just going to have to keep reading to see what's going on at this end.
